Cookies
Our internet pages use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage to your terminal device. Newsletter
When you subscribe to our newsletter on the German Market Report pages, we collect your email address and the time of your signup and confirmation. We use this data to send you the newsletter (about once a month). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). After signing up, you receive a confirmation email and are only subscribed once you click its link (double opt-in).
The newsletter is sent via Kit, a US-based email marketing provider acting as our processor. Your data is stored on Kit's servers in the USA. Kit relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) and/or the Standard Contractual Clauses in its Data Processing Addendum. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to [email protected]. We keep your data until you unsubscribe. Part of the data is collected to ensure the error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyze your user behavior. Primarily, we use the data you provide to fulfill the contract or pre-contractual measures (e.g., preparing a quote for translation services).
